Persons with no yoga experience, of all ages and fitness levels can safely and successfully reap the amazing benefits of this gentle form of physical therapy, including overweight individuals, older adults, new mothers, children, those with stress injuries and limited mobility and persons with physical disabilities. In sessions individuals receive assistance into postures and simultaneous Acupressure from the therapist as well as self-care instructions for home. Acu-Yoga is available in 1 hour sessions as a specific therapeutic plan or general preventative care. General preventative care can be done individually or in small groups by preference, with emphasis on postures for broad physical wellness.
