About Us
Hello. I am Demitra Washington, Holistic Health Practitioner specializing in Behavioral Therapy, Acupressurist and Acu-Yoga Therapist. It is my firm belief that everyone can be healed, empowered, and inspired to natural Healthy Living.



Living in the San Francisco Bay Area while receiving a degree in Behavioral Communication from San Francisco State University (SFSU) and working as a Life Coach offered exposure to a wide array of Complementary and Alternative Health care modalities. After years of mental health counseling, a desire to help others improve their mental, emotional and physical wellbeing successfully for true self-healing began to take hold and prompted exploration into proven systems of natural health and preventative care. Current focus is on continuing education and keeping abreast of the latest advances in the field.  
The level of quality care provided through Healthy Living is in part a direct reflection of the quality education and training received in natural therapy techniques. The Holistic Health and Behavioral Therapy education were received from California Institute of the Healing Arts and Sciences (CIHAS), a college recognized by the US Department of Education and one of just two of its kind to be accredited by the Accrediting Council for Continuing Education & Training (ACCET). The Acupressure Institute of Berkeley, CA is the foremost school for training in California and has met the standards of the Bureau for Private Postsecondary & Vocational Education and the American Organization for Bodywork Therapies of Asia (AOBTA). Both institutions are approved by the Board of Registered Nurses. 

 

To help others overcome life obstacles and achieve their desired success is one of the greatest things one can do for another human being. I know the amazing results I have experienced through mind-body science and have seen the miracles that clients create within themselves through the use of natural therapies. I truly love this rewarding work and find it a wonderful joy to help others achieve radiant health naturally!
